Please don't censor R*s vision for this game...as grown adults we don't need to be told what we can and can not watch.....we're supposed to be a diplomatic society with freedom of speech and expression.....this is completely destroying that of Rockstar's and I find it disgusting, more so than anything that you could ever see in a game, or a film. I will completely back R* and hope that it can be released (as R* intended) in the UK and everywhere else in the world...
I think there should be 2 sku's. And that every company should back this up. Parents have to be responsible for there own kids. Video games and tv are no babysitters, my parents would have never let me play this when I was 13, so why do 13 yrs olds play GTA? No its no OK for kids to play this, but that is why it has an M or AO rating, but yet parents are still buying it. If they need to learn then they have to ask. Do not have other adults suffer because parents can't police there own kids.
I am 110% behind this petition. I should be able to choose what i want to play and not be told by other people that i cannot. I am a responsible adult who can make his own decisions. Rockstar kick assthankyou
I feel as an adult of 24, I should have the right to make my own decision to buy or pass over this game. I personally did not think much of the first game (grew repetitive fast), but it was my right to purchase it, and come to such a decision. It is not right to have my freedom of choice stripped away by overzealous censor-happy people, whom still see fit to have such violence in both music and movies. If we have freedom of choice in those medias, what makes video game entertainment an exception? Un-ban/restrict the sales of Manhunt 2, it is our decision, and our right to choose.
If North America is a land promised for its freedom then why should a piece of art be censored? no matter what it is. Its like censoring nude pictures in a art museum or not letting them be there in the first place. So then why should a game like this be stopped no matter how radical it is since in the end no matter what it is we were told we had freedoms to free speech. So why should this be stopped due to one rating? it shouldn't only handled carefully so it doesn't land in children hands.
As adults we can make our own decisions just like we currently do with movies or music that have received an adults rating. There is no reason why we shouldn't be able to do the exact same thing with computer games.
I believe the act of Sony and Nintendo not allowing AO games to be played on their systems is in essence, the same as the government suppressing free speech. If everyone keeps restricting good ideas...they might just end up going for everyone else from books, tv shows, movies, etc...games are derived from everything in the world experience...so censor those first before you go to something completely fictitious...

I think they should un-ban Manhunt 2 for many reasons. Its not fair cause there are a lot of adult gamers who should be able to play this but cant cause of a Ao Rating! Its like saying no more XXX or Unrated Dvds. Those are in the market and its not like the kids are going to ask their parents to buy them a game thats rated Adults only and say ok. I don't see the point of the AO rating, for kids to get a rated M game there parent has to be there, buy it for them! so if their parents dont want them playing this they wont let them buy it. simple as that. MAKE IT RATED M. i want this game really bad
You'd be a fool not to release this.. Dont ban something because some people forget how to be parents.. Dont let your pre-teen child run around playing Manhunt and ya wouldnt have a problem..

I am so sick and tired of all these parents and politics saying how violent these games are getting for children. Look people, if you don't like it, then don't let your kids play it. Let the people who are mature enough to understand what is and isn't real to enjoy the games. And give the game developers their right of freedom of expression.
