I look forward to the day when adults can have video games for adults. I understand it is difficult to make two versions of a game, but I'd really like the AO version. Why not an AO version available only by online purchase and a mature version for the superstores. I have been playing video games for over twenty years. I remember when people said pac-man was to violent. I also personally believe that games like Manhunt offer a healthy outlet for rage. I no it's a cliche, but what video games was Hitler playing? Oh yeah what about John Wane Gacey? In fact, I don't think there have been any major serial killers since games like Grand Theft Auto and Manhunt came out. These ratings people have secret political concerns. Come on guys, let adults have adult games. If I could program my own I would.
World war 1 and 2 took place because violent games didn't existed in that time! Some things you can't do in real life and you can in video games so let us!

If parents are concerned about their children being exposed to games such as this, they should take responsibility themselves to ensure that their children are not playing them. I respect all parents who refuse to buy games for their children that are not appropriate for them! Censoring the entire industry in order to protect children is lunacy!
We need more adult themed games, more realistic reactions, more blood, guts, violence, and sex.It is what sells, its what we want. If games continue to be dumbed down to reach an audience that doesnt need these kind of games, we will be doing disservice to everyone.Make games for mature audiences, but for the sake of the adults, give us what we really want.Make two versions if you have to.Stop fighting the flow of progress in video games when elsewhere on TV, movies and books, children are allowed to see much worse.

I will buy this as soon as it is released. As a 24 year old gamer I can say there are so many people in the proper demographic that will purchase games like Manhunt 2. Rockstar lead the Revolution!

Nobody should be able to stop us from enjoying a virtual atmosphere where you can kill and in the end nobody gets hurt.
