I totally agree with this. I am 25 and I should be able to buy an A/O game from any stores that are selling such movies as SAW and Hostel. Also, an A/O game is nowhere near as bad as an uncut or uncensored version of a movie. That is totally unfair. I have been allowed to grow up and so should gaming media. It is no longer just for kids.
im 28 yr old adult, with a wife and two kids. I know that responsibility is the real issue here, and believe me, that is up to us as parents to decide, not corporations and government. if we really didnt want it, we wouldn't purchase the software. unban.
I happen to like scaring myself. Its even more fun with friends! Why not unban it? Just a few days ago i saw two episodes of alias on tv where anyone can just watch it with no warning (b/c the v-chip is not effective, its easy to get around it.) i saw an agent being blown up to pieces. then later, the criminals were sticking needles in some guy's eyes. and dont forget about girls gone wild commercial. THAT is no different than the game except with the game its the parents responsibility to buy it or not. not the video game business fault.
For the sake of free speech i hope Nintendo and Sony think twice about the realease of this game......i was waiting my copy for my PSP when i heard about this matter.....this is really lame
They said that manhunt 2 is violence, they should start seeing their own Tv and realise the amount of hatred violence war that is showed by it everyday.I've played manhunt 1 i've said that was one of the most inovative games of ever, not by the violence, but because of its story line and kind of game, manhunt its one of it kind if not the only one.
As a 33 year old gamer, I find it deplorable to ban outright what is really only a game, its not a weapon! Sony already have many 18 rated games on the console in the UK. The censors are trying to be the 'big men' Well they won't tell me what I entertainment I can enjoy, be it movie, music or games. Believe me when I say, if this game gets released, rated or note in the UK, I will get to 'Play' it!
