If this game, or any other violent media provokes someone to actually copy the horrific scenes they see/hear/read, then that someone already has MAJOR head problems... and society shouldn't be subjected to these people anyway, regardless of their age. And if they are young sickos you sould be looking at the parents not the developers of an already well respected game company. No-ones forcing this purchase upon anyone.. nor is anyone forcing anyone to play this game.If this game does get unbanned and I buy it, I won't be directly OR indirectly hurting anyone. This game was not made to train psycos, it was made for adults only to enjoy like we would a film/book etc.

i think it is unjust that we blame kids as reason that manhunt should be banned. how many serial killers, rapist have we prosecuted admitted that all the ideas and reasons behind their crimes is because they played too many bearing the same resemblance? is there any proof that playing such games can raise the likelihood of violence in someone?there are more violence and violent death in movies that we watch today. why dont we ban them too? kids have access to those too right? why dont we ban movies too? nowadays anything can be gotten from the internet. why not ban the internet as well? it is the retailers and parents to blame if kids get their hands on such material. the developers has played their part in getting the ratings for the games so is it their part too to look out if the kids buy/play these games?

People should be given the choice to choose. Even if this did go ahead as adult only, or banned in the UK, if the sellers sold it, children would still get their hands on it if they wanted to. The sellers need to be more vigilant to the people they sell it to, and the parents of said children more vigilant of their children buying and playing it!This is, all in all, a video game. If people want to kill from playing it, then they are already sick in the head, and are just as likely to want to kill after watching halloween, nightmare on elm street, friday the 13th, saw, texas chainsaw massacre, a clockwork orange, all of those sort of films/books. So why prejudice us games players???

Let them come to our houses holding the remote control telling us what to watch, go to our schools and decide what our kids should learn, go to our restaraunts and tell us what is healthy eating. Hang on, they already do this. And every year they always seem to contradict themselves and their past decisions. So many horror films were banned in the 80's, only to be released a decade later, unedited. Surely something must be wrong. Evolution of mankind for such a long time has remained the same and unwavered, but our responses to external stimulii, what

It's a real shame that developers are put in between a rock and a hard place when it comes to adult content. It's really hypocritical and closed minded to allow movies to get away with mature content and still be allowed to be sold at big retail outsets like walmart and best buy, yet when it's a game that has adult content it gets shunned. Adult content should be dealt with accordingly (with labels, and restrictions placed on them) but not to an extreme of being banned completely. Retail outlets should be able to sell this content to those of appropriate age. Stop trying to control the gaming industry, and realize that there are ADULTS who have grown up with games in their lives from the beginning and are still gamers today. This is a new day in age, and silly bans like this are only proof that something is wrong with the way we are viewing the gaming industry. There is an
