Centuries after the Crusades and decades after the Holocaust, we can identify the symptoms of fanatic, irrational hate but do not seem able to stand together to forge a rational plan for tolerance and peace. This is not the world I want to leave to my grandchildren. How to fix it, I'm not sure. But I am sure that intolerance begets intolerance, hate begets hate. It is nearly past time for action. I plead and appeal to the reactionary 'Manifesto of the 12'[the 12 hate preachers[these 12 angry cartoon characters]] to show respect and love for fellow humans, instead of hatred , like the extremists.

I support this petition and the ideal world where freedom is available to all individulas so that they can choose their own religion and value system without persecution, bias, dictators or laws that would put to death anyone who converts to another religion. Pray for the Christian man in Afghanistan who faces death because of a muslim law that prohibits choice.
