We are a modern society in which pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and equality between women and men prevail ! We have to defend our values: human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, and respect for human rights.
I was born in Bucharest, Roumania. I am Christian Orthodox. I support this petition because back in the history, the Pasha killed one of my country Principe-Constantin Brancoveanu with his entire family in Constantinople because he did not convert to Islamism. They did it then, they want to do it again.
Muslims should realize that the Humanity is living in 21st Century and they are not alone on the Earth and they will never be.
All the religions in the world evolve according with the time and development of human society.
Every society-religion had in the history bad actions, but no other then Islamism now days want to go back thousand years.

No doctrine, no dictatorship should ever rule the world through fear and terrorism. People who can behead others or blow themselves to bits in the name of religion are seriously screwed in the head and brainwashed. The only answer for this world is Christ who comes in the name of peace, love (read Proverbs every day).

It is an astonishing instance in which these educated and intelligent men and women (some whom are Muslim themselves) declare their abhorrence towards Political Islam. Not only to they dismiss those who ascert racism but further their refusal to allow others justification or acquiesce of Political Islam in the name of cultural acceptance and respect for Muslim sensitivity. They may not be statesmen, but they are experts not only on Islam but the culture surrounding and it is about time someone with their experience stood up against this trend. After all when it smells like it, feels like it, and looks like it, call it what it is totalitarianism!
