Modern, Rational Man is still the exception in the world rather than the rule. He is the rider strapped to the back of the Fascist beast. He must stay in the saddle and subdue the beast or risk being thrown off and ground into the dust of history by the beasts flailing hooves. It is not a matter of degrees. It is all or nothing, flourish or die. Absolutist threats need absolutist responses. As the inheritors of the enlightenment we are compelled to safeguard that which we have been bequeathed. We owe it to those who came before us, we owe it to our children. The Fascists are not the revolutionaries. We are. The revolution goes on, entrusted to us. Let us not be identified by history as the generation that, through lack of will or clarity, betrayed the cause.
