Being a big york city fan our club nearly went out of business, he should go ack to shitty racing and not into football. I know someone who comes from Mansfield and have gone to field mill when York played them a few years a go. I think it could be a good battle in the conference next year but if this prick comes in and ruins a respectable club like Mansfield then many will regret welcoming the twat into a perfectly normal club! I'm another York fan. Batchelor is a crook - we're still in a chronic position due to his money-grabbing actions and those of that other liar Douglas Craig.
John Batchelor was partly responsible for the demise of York City (along with the former Chairman he bought the FC from for £1) He took the club into administration whilst he himself (as he openly admits) took money out of the club. I have no links with Mansfield Town and no reason to interfere in their FC but all I can say to you is if you truly care about Mansfield Town FC do not let John Batchelor anywhere near the club. He will promise the earth and deliver nothing - except for profit he can milk from you. Good Luck Mansfield.
