I know its been years, but I support this 100%. This isn\'t the first time Josh pulled a gun. When Josh and I were teenagers, he pulled a shotgun (which I honestly believe is the same he used to shoot at this family) on my (then 10-yr-old) brother. No one in the church believed it, because Josh was such a \'good christian kid.\' But I knew the side of him that was in no way a \'good christian,\' because I saw how he acted outside of church. He got away with everything when we were younger, and today he literally gets away with murder. It makes me sick. If someone had just believed my little brother when he tried to report Josh so many years ago... maybe this little girl\'s life could have been spared.
I support this petition. I went to school with Marishka Lovett, I was 6 yrs old when this happened... we were close friends and I would've never believed this could happen... I just found this other wise I would written this a lot sooner. They need to put his sorry ass in prison for life!
I went to school with the father (Tyrone Lovett)he was my best friend and would not hurt anybody on purpose so for these guys to say it was self defense is bull
but his ass in jail!!! what a dumb ass; shooting a gun into a car. he should be put in there for stupidity and he should be held accountable for is redicules actions.
I would like to say many of you are fist off judging others and that isnt our job.. I think God is the one for this position... We need to remeber.. that Beth, Wesley, and Josh are some of the best Christian people I know.. Defence.. Hmmm Daddy should of been taking better care of his daughter... that he supposidly loved so much .. he chased these people for miles...and ran someone over.. where it the justice in that..... I support this petition.because after following the case and hearing most of the story its clear he fired the gun with passion .it was his time to show who is bad who is really the bigger man, showing the gun wasunt enough he had to follow it threw by shootin several shots to at the back of the car.thats murder with a statement but he gets away with .it makes me think the judge is either trying to start a riot or the boys farthers or themselfs must be masons.the lord will equal all unleft quarells .i know the farther is sufferiung by his mistakes in barking =back at them but there was 2 of them .yes i bet they was scared so scared they phoned his brother with the terms we have a nigger chassing us blah blah blah.....like any normal person belives they were scared.back in the day they whould of been linching black people with there farthers.

I am very sadend by what happen on a recent trip to florida with this case we all can see that Walsh is guilty and should face the same punishment that other muderers should face of murdering a innocent young girl. This terrible crime has truley put me off the country. I feel very sadend by this and my heart goes out to the family.
I support this petition. I am outraged by this judge and Second jury. How can an innocent person lose their life and no be held responible. I guess this is what so called justice is. I wonder if Mr. Lovett had taken Mr. & Mrs Walsh daughter, would the judge have overturned the verdict.These so called Christians!!!!!!!! thou shall not kill no exceptions!!!!!!
I support this petition. I am outraged at this verdict. How can this jury live with themselves. I wonder if they ever think of this beautiful child, when they are with thier children or grand kids. I hope the walsh brothers have a horrible life.

Although Lovett is partly to blame for putting his child in that situation and Walsh initially had cause for self defense, that changed when Lovett fled.
Walsh could have ended it there but chose instead to pursue with the obvious intent to kill.

I think Tyrone Lovett should have been charged with child endangerment, but the fact that little Marishka's father acted irresponsibly does not make Walsh less guilty in her death. Had an African American man shot a white child in similar circumstances the outcome would have been much different.
Marishka Lovett, like all children are, was a beautiful gift from God. We all have a purpose here on earth. Marishka's purpose was obviously to show all of us the futility of hate. There are so many people to blame for this entire incident. Both of the Walsh brothers and Luther Parker are to blame for their part in escalating the road rage. Mr. Lovett is also responsible for the escalation by continuing the chase. After seeing a shotgun, I can understand why Mr. Lovett did whatever he had to in order to try to get away from a very dangerous situation. I mean, after all, he had two very innocent people in the car with him. But he needs to take responsibility for putting them in that very dangerous situation. In my opinion, all four of the men involved have equal guilt in the senseless death of a beautiful little girl. I also cannot imagine what kind of stupidity must have come over every juror sitting on this case to have them think there is any good excuse for firing a shotgun into the back of a fleeing vehicle. My hope is that each of them realize their culpability and spend every day of their lives asking for God's forgiveness and trying to make a positive difference in this world. That would be a truly blessed legacy in rememberance of Marishka Lovett.
