I am the cousin of the family and I am very upset about the outcome of the verdict . I feel that justice was not serve. How can Walsh be charged and convicted of murder overturned by the first judged on the first trial and get a retrial and come up with a horrable verdict as it was "NOT GUILTY". I feel that the decision was very unjust. The defendant should not have gotten off without being charged with something. I hope and pray that the decision will be reversed.Because the fact remains the same, an innocent child was killed!
First of all why was carrying a gun? Adults can be so childish at times. I mean the victim's father should have never chased after him. He was wrong for that. Especially since he had other people in car. You do that on your own time. But the people who did cut him off shouldn't have done that! And why were they driving with a weapon? That bastard should have gotten life! W/o parole. It' a racist issue I think. I hope someone does something like that to that man's loved one. a young liitle had to die because of grown adults acting stupid! She did not deserve that. But it's probaly not over. I hope the father gets his revenge. Sometimes you have to take the law in your own hands! I know that creature had to see that little girl in car! He did that on purpose. And he needs to pay!!!! I guess if the father isn't going to anything about that, Hopefully the Lord will take care of it
I think it's a waste of time & money tohave jury trials if the judge is going to tell the jury that they have to vote on a verdict. I do agree that anger on both parts played a large roll. Persuing anyone these days can get you killed. But becomeing so enraged that you forget about your child is wrong. If a person charged w/ DUI kills some one & is charged then a gun owner should be also. That's why they say guns don't kill people do. You can't have the rights without the responsability.
where does law of 10, 20, life take effect in this inccident. this child death was far after that law was passed. now if walsh was pulled over by a police and they found the gun then i believe the law would have been in effect so it should now. walsh should have got life b/c nothing justify taking a life of another. the jury and judge had to be stupid!!!!!
It's a shame that a few minutes of rage can end the life of a child, so innocent and sweet. Sadder still is that no one is held accountable. May God be with Marishka's family.
i say for all those who get off through the system. there is a system alot higher than the courts and it's god and you better believe that they think it's over but it's not leave in the hands of god he knows best and he is always by your side threw good and bad and may their family be blessed and keep their heads up for god will soon take over for their wrong doing's you best believe.
The system was designed for African-Americans, no matter how much the "white-community" say we are making it a racial thing that is exactly what it is! Send him to PRISON!!!
I think that Walsh should have been charged with someting. If it was a different race they would have put them in prison. I'm from the area were they had the hearing and I know for sure he got of lightly for the color of his skin.
god has all power in his hand and walsh will get what is coming to him it might not be right now but the lord will see that justice is served my prayers are with the family stay prayed up and leave it in the lord"s hand.

If Joshua had been black and Marishka had been white, then the entire Walsh family would be behind bars where they all belong. Sometimes I still look down the street for her to be comming home and to be playing with my daughter. She was a sweet and beautiful girl.
