There are many stereotypes and opinions held about this form of rape. Some people think that marriage is ownership and that rape isn't so much as a crime and more of a marital duty.

Other people think that being able to prove marital rape is near impossible as the line of consent is blurred...

Some people think that acknowledging marital rape would mean more people would "cry" rape for attention...

This is an issue that effects PEOPLE! Men can be raped, women can sexually abuse other women and women can sexually abuse men... Marital rape is wrong, should be recognised by courts more, by people socially and people should be able to talk about it openly!
