This petition is to address the recent price increases in Marvel comics over the past year and to demand a return to the original US price of $2.50 per issue. Over the past year since around August 2005, many of Marvel's monthly issues have increased in price by $0.74 (US Dollars). This is a considerable change when taking into account that over the timeframe of 14 years the price had only increased by $1.00 (US Dollars). This is an unacceptable change and cannot be tolerated, seeing as how the price of a product severly impacts the desire of an individual to make a purchase.

All people who sign this petition indicate their desire for sensible pricing so that their interests in Marvel comics may continue unfettered.

When a sufficient number of signatures has been collected, this petition will then be sent to the attention of Marvel CEO, Alan Fine and Chairman Emeritus, Stan Lee. Hopefully this will be able to take place by the end of June 2006 in order to expedite a response from Marvel Publishing, Inc.
