Mayor David Miller of the city of Toronto is clearly incompetent. The citizens of Toronto do not deserve this weak leadership and do not deserve the loss of services to 2 million tax payers.

For Miller's lack of leadership we, the citizens of Toronto, demand his immediate resignation.

I support this petition. Mayor Miller has shown absolutely no leadership or guts in this strike. Instead he allows his own council to raise salaries for themselves and then lets greedy union management create a mess with the city. This man is truly an idiot. If he had any brains he would act to enforce back to work legislation immediately. Why is there no Canada Post Union anymore? Because it was outlawed! Garbage and TTC unions NEED to be outlawed. If Toronto wants to be taken seriously as a major world city one cannot allow garbage pickers and bus drivers (thinking of the last TTC strike) hold hostage a greter city region of 5 million plus people. The US papers in California were correct in putting Toronto up there with Hondurus and other such places to avoid when touring abroad. Toronto whines it wants to be respected as a world class city (like London or Rome etc) but can be held hostage at the drop of a garbage mans hat. The next mayorial election is 2010 --vote him OUT. Hopefully John Tory or some other conservative minded man or women can come in and really teach those who would hold the largest city in Canada hostage a lesson. Etobicoke has NOT missed one garbage day--because they have PRIVATE garbage collection. Take the hint Miller. Also its slimy of you to collect taxpayers money a portion of which is FOR garbage collection and then not deliver garbage collection! This does not happen with private firms who compete for the consumers business. Mr Mayor you do NOT deserve to be mayor --you are not representing the people who elected you. You sir are a coward.
