We do not need a freaking mascot! This is the Steelers!... If you had to have a friggin mascot, give him a better name. The name sucks and the mascot sucks. The Steelers don't need that!
I think that a mascot is not something this GREAT team needs. As bad as it is that now we have one it is to be named STEELY MCBEAM. Come on what the hell kind of name is that???

This is by far the worst mascot and name for a mascot in all of pro sports. It is onlly rivaled by the 1994 Atlanta Olympic Mascot. Not sure what I am talking about? Just google the above and you will see. Nice going Steelers. You might as well of made Kordell Stewart the mascot. Losers.
I do not like the mascots name at all it just does not work for the city of Pittsburgh. It needs to be changed or the mascot needs to leave. Thats my opinion about the mascot.
Steely McBeam must go! The idea of a mascot is retarded (much less the worst mascot ever created). Truthfully, if the identity of the person inside the costume is discovered I fear for his safety in the Burgh. End McBeam so an innocent person doesn't get hurt by an angry drunk Yinzer. This is pathetic. Rooney's are selling out!!!!! Steeler fans are the best and they sure don't need any help from a pansy named Steely McBeam. It makes my skin crawl just hearing it!!!!
