Only the PM of Israel, and George Bush, and our PM said that. We all know who George Bush is, so it is a shame that our PM followed him!!!. We miss VERY MUCH the great man Mr. Jean Chretien. He made Canada an independent and well-respected country all over the world. Mr. Harper is destroying this great reputation by making such wrong, unmeasured, and unjustified comments. Please, Mr. Harper, don't talk about politics before you study a little bit of history. And please -for the sake of Canada- ask your foreign affairs minister to stop talking about this crisis as well. This is an advice from someone who loves this great country.

I support this petition in recognition of the equal worth of every human regardless of skin colour, the inherent right to dignity and life held by all Palestinian and Lebanese citizens, and in condemnation of all manifestations collective punishment and civilian slaughter. Israel is currently carrying out some of the most egregious and sweeping state terrorism ever inflicted upon a civilian population. Proportionality has been discarded by the wayside in Israel campaign of destruction. The infrastructure that millions of Palestinian and Lebanese men, women and children depend on for survival has been systematically destroyed,in one of the most reprehensible series of war crimes of the 21st century.
Encouraged by the Canadian government's consistent support of state terrorism and the collective attack against civilian populations, Israel's campaign continues undeterred. The people of Lebanon are helpless. Israel has bombed the roads; their bombs have so decimated the countryside that movement is in many cases impossible; they have declared that any moving vehicles, including ambulances and civilian evacuation vehicles, will be considered weapon convoys and bombed on sight. That the international community continues to sit back and allow so many innocent Lebanese to be slaughtered like helpless fish in a barrel is shocking and an utter disgrace.
Mr. Harper, in supporting this travesty, you have proved youself worthy of only the strongest condemnation and the deepest shame.
Mr. Harper: Please think about what you are doing before you do it. Everything you have been doing since taking power is effecting the low income and little people, not your coorporate buddies which isn't right.
Mr.Harper is forcing "dual standards" on the very just and peaceful foreign policies of Canada which have been followed by Canada for decades before Mr. Harper came into existance.

I support the call to the Canadian government to demand a halt to Israel's vicious, illegal attacks on Lebanon, and to restore its traditional role as an honest broker to help restore peace to the civilians in Palestine, Lebanon, and Israel.
