I am a japanese woman and was shocked when I read his comments about canadian UN officer's death .His " doubts about israeli forces deliberately attack to UN" is clearly too weak as a concern when international community's principle is violated. I expected more strong statements that support Mr.Annan's anger. Mr.Harper please don't wave your tail like a poppy dog to Amarica/Israel. unfortunately my home country's gorvenment is very much like poppy dog ( or " chicken " in big chicken farm), so I really expect Canada can be one of the key country to make new path for better world in the future.

I support this petition because I know, as do well meaning people of all creeds and nationalities, that war does not help to resolve human problems and certainly is not democratic. It is however ilegal.

I'm not sure whether it's for domestic reasons (e.g. appearing decisive or moral) or making up to the US (for slights perceived and real of the previous government of Canada). Regardless I'm ashamed to be associated with Stephen Harper as a Canadian.
