Unfortunately, Mr.Harper is a monumental disgrace to the good reputation of Canada.As a Canadian living in the Middle East I can say that his lack of respect for and dedication to the 'Canadian Identity' is highly embarassing. On a human level, Mr. Harper, you lack compassion. On all levels you are a failure.

Mr. Harper's ignorance on international affairs and historical role of the Canadian government as a world's peacemaker (we miss today Mr. Axworthy big time!) is hampering the reputation for this great country that historically advocates for peaceful solutions, and also putting on risk the people living in Canada and traveling around the world. Canada and its people is not USA neither should be pretend to be. Canadian don't want to experience what it happened in Spain, when Mr. Anznar was pretending to be as tough as Mrs. Blair and Bush on the Iraq invasion that resulted on hundreds of innocent people dead in Madrid. So Mr. Harper, I recommend you and your aids to illustrate themselves better before taking sides on support of a genocide of Lebanese innocent civilians and destruction of their country in plain XXI Century and with live coverage on CNN. Israel has the right (as any other country in the Planet) to defend themselves, but what they are doing in Lebanon right now, it is not far of what Jews suffered under Nazi occupation in Europe, and that have been selling to the world for over 50 years to get away with everything, including current massacre in Lebanon.

Israel occupied palestine and announced Israel in 1948. That occupation killed -so far- millions and push other millions away from their lands and homes. other millions are still living and suffering every minute. Well; I think you know but still you stand with Israel.
