because you had run your campaign on the promise that we as canadians would always be piece keepers. now we are murdering innocent afghans. nato has lost all credibility.
Shame on your Harper for taking a stance. Shame on you for allowing Canada to pull its head out of the sand. This is outrageous that Canada has started believing in a particular side being wrong. Shame on you Harper for waking us up.
Canada must denounce aggressive violence and be a staunch supporter of peaceful diplomacy. Silence is complity. Calling for cease fire should have been Canada's position.
Put quite simply, destroying a country and murdering its inhabitants -- ostensibly in response to the capture of two soldiers -- is not a "measured response" by any stretch of the imagination. The Canadian government is a disgrace to all of us for taking such an overtly biased stance.
Never will I support a Canadian government who supports aggressive war, especially not a biased and descriminatory military offensive such as that which Israel has maintained.
