My son Loves Melanie. He USDED to fall a sleep and smile at her, at bed time. We and everyone we know, will NOT watch PBS Kids till she is back on the show.

I support this petition because my child loves Melanie and is disappointed not to see her hosting the Good Night Show. I am disappointed with PBS for playing the morality police -- and over such a silly issue! Any child watching Sprout would have no idea that those videos even exist. PBS should not aspire to be more like the Fox network.
How can you get rid of Melanie for something that she did seven years ago, and still have Dr. Ruth on Sesame Street. Isnt she the person that talks about sex and dildos more than anyone in the world. Then you have George Carlin and Alec Baldwin narating Thomas the Engine. Those guys make a living saying bad words.
She wasnt even nude, what child would even KNOW about that show? Look at Sesame Street for goodness sakes, a few weeks ago they had James Gandolfini ( from the Sopranops )on as a guest, C'MON!! Seriously I mean talk about a bad role model for children! No one complauned about that! Bring her back, she was cute & nice & what she did was simply a spoof, it wasnt a porn or anything!
My daughter and I loved watching Melanie together on the Goodnight show. My two year old daughter is incapable of looking up and finding some obscure videos on the internet. We just want Melanie back.
