I support this petition.in the past they put on programmes what the people wanted to watch. now they make programmes what they think we should be watching
I don't blame ITV because they can make a fortune. But soon every channel will have one of these "Quiz" segments on.
They are shit, a con and of no entertainment value whatsoever. Hopefully people will soon realise and stop ringing in.
I support this petition. Theres to many Quiz shows already. What wuill happen when tastes change as they will, the public will get sick of tehse soon enough. ITV how about some orginal programming, you already do poor compared with BBC with Drama, comedy and none excistant in natural history

they are changing a mans channel into a crappy phone quiz channel, i wouldn't mind if it was like challenge tv but it will be like all the other rubbish phoneline quiz channels i will be deleting that channel from my line up on freeview.

MM actually provides some entertainment. Who wants to watch a channel of housewives and pensioners phoning in to solve pointless puzzles, while being bombarded by unaturally enthusiastic presenters.

Big mistake ITV -replacing an entertainment channel with a dumbed down quiz channel will make people question whether to purchase freeview decoders for this dross.
I totally 100% back this petition, Having watched M&M since it first launched on cable. Then relocating and just having freeview/TUTV - it was terrific when I could watch it again. Please don't sacrifice an entertainment channel with yet another ring in quiz channel. Quiz channels may make money in the long run - but at the sacrifice of the viewing audience of a good channel??

ITV Play seems to be just another money making channel to fill Freeview/DTT with rubbish. Limited band width needs to be used properly. At least M&M provides real entertainment.
I wholeheartedly support this petition. Dropping a hugely popular entertainment channel such as Men&Motors for a frivolous quiz channel just shows that TV programme providers are just out to make a quick buck rather than providing entertainment and education for the masses - which is what they should all be doing.
ITV have already inflicted Quizmania onto us on it's main channel that runs for hours during the night...it's just wrong for them to just wipe out a channel that's been going for years just out of sheer greed and no desire for proper programme content...just on principle alone it's wrong.

There are a lot of great shows on this channel such old favourites as the sweeney, minder, police camera action, wrecks to riches, sold in 60 seconds, motorway patrol, learner drivers.... shall i go on??. We dont need another quiz channel. So please ITV reconsider the shut down of this great channel

I can't believe ITV are even considering scrapping M&M for quiz call.
M&M currently accounts for around a third of my TV viewing but I will not bother to watch quiz call and will delete the channel from my listings.
I would prefer more choice of entertaining programming supported by advertising rather than the opportunity to win money for the price of premium rate phone calls
