The launch of ITV Play will take Freeview further to the point of stagnation of quizzing and shopping cheapness, which on a platform with so much limited space is a complete waste, at worst a scandal.

Why replace a popular channel with a boring Quiz Channel which people will not be getting value for money.
Instead on watching a channel for FREE on FREEVIEW, they will be getting ripped off trying to win ringing a premimum rate telephone number, where you have almost a 99.9% chance of NOT winning. (Apart from a hole in you wallet/purse)!!!!!

Question: We asked 100 ordinary people whether they would prefer a quiz show or M & M. 99 said M&M while the other 1 said they peferred S&M!!! Poor show ITV, quiz show my arse!!!!

ITV you will only lose on this! i hope when ITV play I hope it loses you money and that M&M should stay on freeview. Freeview needs more fun insted of borning quiz channels that some person just talks there and sits there not knowing what to do while we can see police crashes , fights and more. so we DON'T want ITV PLAY! M&M is the best channel on Freeview, I'm 100% behind keeping it on freeview! ITV Don't be stupid and think people will play your stupid quizzes cos they won't!
100% behind this... M&M was a nice addition - old programs like Minder and Miami Vice.. now we get another quiz channel - aimed at the brain dead... sorry but if you want to make Freeview a sucess - either add the content of M&M to an ITV channel or leave alone!

I can't believe ITV would sink so low as to put a channel such as ITV Play on our screens. What a waste of limited freeview space it will be.
It's bad enough now with this utter crap hitting ITV1 + 2 from the hrs of 12 - 5am when at one time there was quite afew good shows on that was worth watching, but now we are beeing force fed this junk? As it is these quize chans have come under the spotlight with blaintant rippoffs as shown on BBC's Watchdog. atleast M&M was worth watching.
Have a rethink ITV. M&M is one of the few channels worth watching. I don't particularly want this replaced with another phone-in channel for the brain dead.
Why should a channel like "Men and Motors" that has programming aimed at a predomently male audience (in a complementary way to ITV4), be sacrificed to make way for yet another gaming channel?
