This is ludicrous. Surely there must be some legislation in place which governs what channels go on Freeview. Which idiots are letting the likes of ITV flood the bandwidth with swindling quiz channels. I've removed Channel 35 from my Freeview receivers and I won't be retuning until M&M is back. I hope the fat cats at ITV see their bonuses plummet because of this idiotic decision.

Men & Motors has been one of my favourites. I enjoy watching the old 80's series. There is little chance I or my family will be using any channel, apart from the occasional vote, where there are additional phone charges. On-line quizzes like this are a complete waste of bandwidth.

I am disgusted by this quiz filth. This is an absolutely disgraceful money grabbing con. Shame on you ITV! I will delete this abomination from my EPG in outrage.
Men and motors draws me in around saturday tea time, the play channel will be deleted from my programme list. That's one less person they can advertise to from now on...
It is clear that the public do not want another quiz show conning people out of money. Already other channels have removed the broadcasting of real shows during the evening hours to broadcast such rubbish, and now we've lost a whole channel! It's unethical and a disgrace! Shame on you ITV!!!
A quiz channel, or a dumbed-down affront to the intelligence of the average British citizen? No wonder the BBC is still leading the way in British broadcasting, with ITV insisting on replacing a mass-appeal TV channel with one that is no more than a poorly-disguised slot-machine in a games arcade.

As the government want us to switch to digital TV perhaps we should contact our local MP's as this is not a good way to entice people to switch over.

From the 19th April, ITV Play will take the slot currently being used by Men and Motors on Freeview. Men and Motors will continue to broadcast a strong schedule on Sky, Telewest and NTL. ITV has limited capacity on the Freeview platform and we have to take decisions based upon the capacity available. In this instance we believe ITV Play represents the best commercial use of this capacity on DTT. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused to our viewers. There are no plans for a return in the near future.

my opinions upon ITV have somewhat been lessened by this move. We dont need any of these quiz cannels i cant believe people actually ring in. They dont even get through and still get charged! Its just a money making scam!
