Men and motors was my first choice of viewing on freeview and I am disgusted that it has been been replaced with another "dumbing down" way of parting fools with their money.
The people who made such a decision should be ashamed to be associated with providing T.V. entertaiment
Men & Motors is one channel on Freeview that catered for us gents (and quite a few ladies too, I assume). It had great potential. To replace it with a soon-to-be insignificant Quiz Channel in a pool of similar dross is suicide I'm afraid - ITV cashing in again... stuff 'em, I say!
Why do we need all these crap channels, it is bad enough that men and motors was not on 24 but now to remove it is stupid. The main reason I watch freeview is for M&M, not for buying stuff or seeing people training on a damned stepper or bollox like that. come on, smell the roses guys (or gals)

ITV are an absolute disgrace. I complained to ITV Duty Office and got this bulls**t reply:
"ITV has limited capacity on
the Freeview platform and we have to take decisions based upon the
capacity available. In this instance we believe ITV Play represents the
best commercial use of this capacity on DTT. We apologise for any
inconvenience this has caused to our viewers."

I'm 15 and M&M was the main reason why i bought the freeview. I liked the sweeney etc. We don't need another quiz channel. Their is already quiz call which is crap. 1 man rang up and spent £120 on it and didn't get through once. Bring back M&M. I won'y be watching itv play

and has been replaced by mentally unchallenging un-entertaining crap tv well i am glad its not on top up tv as this would be good reason to cancel
I fully support this petition. If all ITV want is more opportunities for Premium rate call rip offs of the public then they should open a chat line, not kill a popular channel. If this is ITV's idea of good programming then its time they lost their licence to broadcast!!!

M&M was a great channel and fitted in nicely with the mix offered on freeview. ITV Play will be removed from my favourites list as it offers me nothing, wasting your sponsors money.
I support this petition. We have more than enough of these rubbish quiz shows and they are also showing them on ITV 1 pre midnight - They are obviously really struggling so why scrap the best channel they have.
