M&M provided some great alternatives to the endless soaps churned out on most of the rest of the freeview channels. To replace this with a mindless quiz programme, designed purely to generate yet mroe income for ITV, is an insult and a travesty.
Bring back M&M please. ITV Play is garbage tv at it's worst. There are MORE than enough garbage game channels on freeview as it is. Give us M&M back please.
I don't watch much of ITV as most of the output is tripe, this move just proves that they have no interest in viewers or producing ANY decent programs, only taking money from the brain dead, via stupid quizes.
I have never seen such a mindless load of rubbish and the fact that they ask you to call all the time and then if you attempt to call they say that your call has not been allowed because what they are doing is ripping people off all the time and making them feel that they can actually win this money when at the end of the day the only winner is the itvplay people and the mindless idiots that set this up

because Ment & Motors showed quality vintage programming, and was one of the reasons I bought Freeview equipment. I feel cheated. Quiz shows are two a penny. Is this what we really want? No.
M&M is a valuable asset to the free-to-air digital range, with classic drama and good car shows etc. ITV Play is a load of banal drivel that offers nothing extra to the channels that are already there - Scrap it!!
ITV should be ashamed to put out this dire money making channel. ITV Play has been deleted from my Digi Box. Bring back M&M. Who is actually watching this? Sad middle aged loners & the terminally unemployable aka ITV Bosses...
What are you playing at, is there not enough of your rubbish quiz shows i for one ill not be watching and taking part in any. Bring back Men and Motors a quality channel.
Just from business sense, ITV should bring it back. Men & Motors was an entertaining channel, I watched it, I saw the adverts. Its replacment is awful and I will never tune into the channel. In additions, these game shows prey on people to generate cash for ITV. Shame on you ITV.
Get rid of ITV Play, total waste of space & money. Quizzes attract debt. We loved M&M - Jo Guest, Used Car Roadshow & the 1970's shows! Bring back M&M onto Freeview. Down with ITV.
ITV Play is complete rubbish- could only watch it for 30 seconds before turning over to another programme. Men and Motors was fantastic. Bring it back!
I was originally looking forward to a "Fresh" channel coming onto freeview, but after watching it I realised it was "just another cheap channel" to fill up freeview. At least Men & Moters had decent programmes worth watching.What a waste of (much needed) space.
I am very angry that this channel has gone. It was one of only a few channels I like to watch. Quiz channels are un-entertaining rubbish and I hate them.

I support this petition because it is criminal to replace Used Car Roadshow and classic drama shows with cynical money making "quiz" shows which are garbage and a con and nothing more than a telephone lottery.
It was the channel I watched most. And am extremely annoyed it has gone. It had some good motorsport and Miami Vice, Magnum, Minder etc. which were great.
The one and only channel i watched most during the early evenings and weekends was M&M and regrettably has now been replaced by yet another useless quiz show.
I cant believe it; this is life shattering!
I love watching Magnum, Sweeney, Minder,etc and now all there is is TOTALY shite 24/7.

I find the idea of introducing yet another program of the same format that runs on so many other channels is what is now termed as creative thinking by TV executives.
The only way that the channel will continue to exist is if they has a steady revenue stream. So the only way to get ITV Play off the air is to ignore them, but how to you convince the lottery generation that the odds are against them...?
There are far too many quizchannels available. Why do ITV think that TV has been improved by taking off a really good channel such as Men and Motors - there isn't another channel to compare it with, so why add another of the "same" quiz channels, and take off a channel like this aimed more at us men! There would be an outcry from women if they took off a cooking channel or one of those shopping channels! so much for equality between the sexes!
There's no many quiz programs as it is. Not happy when ITV put it on ITV1, outraged that they feel the need to make a whole channel on quizzes that rip people off.
as I feel there are already plenty of quiz channels i.e Quiz Call and evening slots on ITV1, ITV2 and FTN. I will miss all the classic brit shows and Police Camera Action! Yet again, ITV is putting its commercial greed before it's viewers. No more tacky shopping and quiz channels on Freeview!!

I support this petition. The original objective of Freeview TV was to provide more varied choice etc. There are already quiz channels/content out there and we don't need more. More importanly Men and Motors covered such a wide motoring scope. Bying, selling, performance, leisure, cars, bikes etc. etc. No way could it be considered to be exclusive. There was always something for everyone.
I support this petition. I cannot see the need for yet another "quiz" channel - especially when this one duplicates what is on ITV1 at times. M&M was giving some of us chance to view again some of the series we watched in our more youthful years. We were never able to see some of the episodes then because time-shift by use of VCR was still in the future. Give us back the platform containing the programmes we love!
