I emailed the duty office at ITV to ask why ITV Play had replaced Men and Motors. The following is taken from their response 'In this instance we believe ITV Play represents the best commercial use of this capacity on DTT.' Sounds like revenue before everything else to me or am I wrong?

the reason i bought a digi box was purely to watch episodes of the Sweeney as enjoy and am a collector of the music used on it. itv play is a waste and serves no purpose other than to control and exploit its audience. Bring back mm!!!!!please!!
