I'm absolutely gobsmacked that m&m has been taken off freeview in favour of yet another money grabbing waste of space they call a quiz show. I'm missing all those great programmes; the professionals, the sweeney, used car roadshow, we want them back.
I support this petition because we have quiz shows on smile tv, five, the hits and quiz call. but we dont have any motor channels, play is just one big con
i believe that the times for quiz call and itv play should not go on till 2 or 1 in the morning its not fair when im in bed so change the times so its fair thankyou.
Why oh why did M&M get taken off.Only to be replaced with yet ANOTHER quiz channel. This was only done because ITV are in dire straits financially. That is NOT good enough.BRING BACK M&M and chuck ITV4/PLAY into touch.Maybe ITV should look into getting rid of programme directors etc before deleting M&M.
I have been looking for somewhere to speak up for the re-instatement of this excellent channel. Since ITV's murder of M&M on Freeview, Smile TV has also sprung up, with a programme called Quizworld, the two music video channels now show overnight quizzes and even Five is now showing Quiz Call programmes overnight. Enough is enough! Give us back our M&M And scrap this racket which features a smug looking Brian Dowling, encouraging people who can least afford it to run up huge phone bills, only to be told they havn't been selected this time and to try again. It certainly hasn't escaped my notice that this is the only ITV channel that gets by quite well without advertising thank you very much, and to be showing the same programme on ITV1 and ITV2 AT THE SAME TIME limits viewer choice even further.
Charles Allen take note. I will put up with adverts if it means we can have the original Auf Wiedersein Pet, Minder and The Sweeney back. Get your trousers on Allen, you're nicked!
I think ITV Plc has gone way too far this time. Not only can't they be bothered making decent programmes for their Flagship channel, they go and ruin their channel with the smallest audience! In my eyes, what is on Channel 3 is no longer ITV. ITV made quality programming. ITV cared for their viewers. ITV Plc do not, money first, sod the viewers!
ITV play is rubbish, I never use it nor use any of the other quiz channels. Yes they make more money, but surely they can get another slot & put on M&M
seems to me that our big brother controllers have decided that we can only watch the programmes they want us to watch - enjoyment Ha - not if they can help it!
I am furious that a good selection of motoring programmes and oldies should be replaced with a tat quiz show designed just to make a bit of cash. Bought freeview box half for the kids stuff and half for M&M!!
because that stupid stupid same boring quiz channel where they rip you off with premium rate phone numbers and 1 in 3000.000 chance of getting through......its absolute junk tv bring back men and motors or i may burnb my set top box too
even itv are getting in the act now throwing junk quiz tv in to fill the wee small hours all for the sake of profit before program quality
Another example of valuable freeview space misuse. We all realise the bills have got to be paid but to replace a channel that actually had an output and replacing it with a cheap to produce zero output channel designed to take money from people who are daft enough to dial that premium rate number is just a (should be) criminal money making scam! A houswives delight until that quarterly bill comes in! Shame on you ITV! Tight northern money grabbing granada with crappy quality carlton.Perhaps it's time we broke up the ITV monopoly that used to be individual Independent television companies. They should at least rename to PTV. P for private, profit poor, parasitic.ect.I have deleted ITVprey. I am already a victim of M+M loss!
Most sensible people know the quiz channels are a rip off and for what I have seen it is always the same people who call. How does anyone watch these channels for so long??!! The British public really do have an IQ problem if they find these channels entertaining.
