Glancing through my TV listings magazine the other day I was pleased to notice a late night programme called ITV Play. I anticipated a cultural experience with an hour or two of Pinter or Ayckbourn. You can imagine my surprise on tuning in to find a pair of chavs asking me to phone up to guess how many sides there are on a triangle!
The Isle of Man TT races are a very important event in the motorcycling calendar. It is therefore incomprehensible that ITV should choose to replace the coverage of Men
how does this work then? a couple of dozen (idiot) callers calling in to ITV Play a night paying premium rates with next-to-no non-players watching your adverts. OR. a few million viewers (ex-pats around Europe too) watching good shows, both old and new AND the adverts to keep ITV happy (e.g. the advertisers happy!).
sinceme & my husband have had free veiw we find men & motors fantastic & we was gutted to find the programme had finished our televison has not been the same since please bring back the good old programmes we use to enjoy like the sweeney, the professionals, miami vice etc!!!!!.
