ITV should be proud of itself for giving us quatlity TV like Minder and Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. Our interest in watching their repeats 20 years on is testament to that. Replacing these programmes with an endless stream of quizzes doesn't even make economic sense, as you'll see your audience figures decrease.

Another quiz channel If its a real quiz channel showing old quiz enternatment shows such as old millonaine episodes then maybe but it wont be it will be just another waste of valuble free view space. ITV should be ashamed.
I think that M&M was the best channel on freeview. This is typical of ITV, I can only hope that this generates enough anti ITV Play feeling that the channel is a dismal failure and ITV end up with egg on their faces

There are already too many phone in quiz channels, and M&M fulfills quite a large niche in the channel spectrum.
Where else can you get the Professionals, Sweeney and Jo Guest in one place
Though I will be able to carry on watching the channel via NTL, I still feel angry about Freeview, it is a great asset to the platform and know many people who will miss it.
Massive mistake by ITV. M&M is a much better channel than ITV4 and does better in the ratings than ITV4 (except for when the champions league is on ITV4).
I'll certainly be deleting ITV Play channel from my box and advising people how much of a con channels like this are.
Quiz channels are simply a way of scamming the public into giving the company their money. Fair enough you may say. "Anyone stupid or gullable enough to ring into these shows deserves everything they get". However not at the expense of all those who like to enjoy decent television entertainment.
I support this petition. Besides M&M broadcasting an individual and attractive programe list, these quiz channels are absolute rip off's generating more in revenue then they pay out in prizes. OFTEL should step in!
