M&M being taken off air and replaced by yet another quiz programme is a sad day for British Broadcasting. ITV have now just confirmed that they are purely after your money and have no regard or passion for quality and entertainment. Delete this new ITV play rubbish before it even starts.
I would like to express my disappointment in the news that MM will no longer be broadcast on Freeview. I cannot believe that ITV can make such a poor decision. We do not need another quiz channel....I don't even watch the other one!! I will greatly miss the old reruns, Magnum, Auf Wiedersehen, Minder etc etc, and especially Used Car Roadshow and Auto Mundial, as there is nothing like these on TV at the moment. This will surely be a ratings loser. I urge you to reverse this decision, or put MM programmes on a different channel.........PLEASE!!
Well I will be deleting the quiz channel from my list like I delete the other quiz channel and shopping channels. Time to stop watching all the ITV channels me thinks. up yer arrsse ITV
Forget the view that men and motors is a pervy channel, there's some classic re-runs and cool car programs. We now have to put up with another moronic quiz channel, that conns people out of money. Nice one...
So how can we get to see the WRC on Freeview now? I like all the other programmes they have and the re-runs of the classics are great.
Come on ITV, bring back something people actually want!
I'm sure ITV could care less about this or any other protest against their choice of programming. They'll laugh all the way to the bank when enough saddo's tune in to their so-called 'quiz' (read: joke!) channel. This will make Richard & Judy's 'quiz' questions look like Mastermind!!! KEEP 'MEN & MOTORS'......(just change the name!).
This really sucks. I look forward to M&M for the good motoring coverage and to my dismay found out today that they are no longer broadcasting on freeview. Why ITV? The majority of viewers do not want yet another trashy quiz show. Come on, pull your act together!
The reason for ITv play on freeview first is to see how good it is and will people play it! i just found out by a friend at ITV that if the channel is not getting any phone calls in and has not may people ITV will take it off freeview and leave it on Sky , NTl and telewest so if you want M&M don't Play and call ITV PLAY!
How low can ITV go? M&M has some great programming for believe it or not, Men! Now we get some crappy quiz channel which will give us approximately zero cultural entertainment. It will be deleted from my EPG as soon as it goes live.
Why the pathetic cheap to make profit making quiz tv lets have general entertainment that at least the occasional person may like a program when quiz tv i would not even look at a waste of a channel freeview should limit the types of tv channels on the network

Men and Motors is one of a very few list of decent FTA channels, there is already a furore of gaming channels already on the digital platforms, this decision is based on sheer greed, SHAME ON YOU ITV!!!
I support this petition, we don't need another crappy quiz channel, we need our daily dose of Motorway Patrol and other goodies like that. There is enough ITV crap on already, leave M & M alone!
I support this petition. I'm sure ITV only made this decision because freeview viewers do not pay a subscription and therefore ITV do not have to deal with irate paying subscribers! I have already deleted QuizCall and I will delete ITVPlay.
Men & Motors has some really good classic programmes, Minder, Auf Weidershien Pet and the Professionals. Used car Roadshow is good too. ITV Play (or should that be ITV Pay) is just another channel for people to delete from their set top boxes. Well I will and I'm sure many others feel like this.
