i am gutted that m&m is being replaced with yet another quiz channel which charges you 60p whether your sucessfull or not men and motors is in the top 5 best channels on freeview why is it that tv officials dont listen to the views of the general public the viewing figures for channel 35 will dwindle dramatically bring back m&m now .. NO MORE QUIZ RUBBISH..

I support this petition. I am ashamed of ITV. Men and Motors is the best channel on Freeview. It will ruin Freeview if it is taken away. Most of the other channels are extremely boring. Men and Motors shows repeats that we have wanted to see for years, and no other channels will show. Some of the programmes are extremely funny. Me and my good freind become extremely amused at watching Police Camera Action! Repeats. I also know people who will miss old Auf Wiedersehn Pet repeats. Men and Motors has been showing many gameshows in the day lately, which is unfortunate. Men And Motors MUST be kept! Freeview will be nothing without it!
I was only reading the other day about how popular Men & Motors was compared with ITV4. So where is the logic in killing one of the more popular Freeview channels? I support the petition to keep Men & Motors on Freeview!
I will not watch ITV Play, and will delete it from my channel list. I probably won't bother with the rest of the ITV channels either, all that is on at night on ITV1 is quiz channel hosted by idiotic z rated hosts, and watched by retards.

M & M was a goof channel with a good range of programmes, there are enought quiz cahnnels already on freeview. Bring back M & M
ITV ought to be ashamed of itself. there was nothing wrong with men & motors it was a perfectly valid channel to air on freeview. but there is everything wrong with turning over every available channel to the purile nonsense it now tries to pass off as television. is it any wonder that they are short of viewers.

Men and motors offerd something differnent, another quiz channel is not needed or required, there are too many shopping channels and quiz channels allready, i think freeview now needs to be taken in hand like the bbc and held accountable, i for one will not be viewing quiz channels or shopping channels, a step backwords.

Who watches these channels and phones in needs to get a life (they can't all be drunk). Start listening to your customers ITV as you already have stooped to new lows with Quizmania (ITV2) and The Vault (ITV1). Why not just go the whole hog and open an advert channel 24/7 it would be more interesting than this cash cow.

It may not have been the greatest channel, but at least it never tried to con me out of money by answering rubbish questions and puzzles...except between 6pm - 7.30pm weekdays. Bring the bugger back!
ITV just becomes worse and worse! Disgusted that one of the few decnet channels they have they go and replace with risdiculous 'play' channel! Whoever thought of that clever idea really should not be working for a company such as ITV
M&M was one of the better channels on the Freeview network. To replace it, whilst probably makes good short-term financial sense, it also highly sullies ITV's whole reputation regarding quality programming and highlights its increasingly poor guageing of what the viewing public want to see.

I can't believe this! I hate those ridiculous Game Shows, the answers are completely absurd. Men And Motors was a quality channel with loads of crime fighting programmes and decent comedy. Come on?!?!?!?!?!?!
ITV, what have you done? gone mad or just plain greedy? hardly ever watched any other channel and now its gone! the non emergency services programming in the evening and other car orientated programs had me glued for hours, i am gutted and angry with itv. bring it back!

I support this petition because Men and Motors was a great channel with top programs like The Professionals. The public don't want quiz channel type programs that are effectively conning the stupid - just like the scratchcards you get in your weekend paper.
Well done ITV for killing freeview. Hope everyone deletes all your channels from there freeview boxes, no viewers no revenue from advertising, hope it bankrupts you within a year just like ITV digital did!

I support this petition. Why dont they just take Quiz Call off air and replace it with ITV Play if they really have to but M&M is far better. These quiz shows are ridiculous and must be stopped. ITV's strategy of a quiz in every programme is bad enough but a whole channel is too far.

Another example of a big organisation completely ignoring what people actually WANT, and instead giving us absolute rubbish. I'd love to see their market research! The banality of, and explotation behind such puerile quiz programmes is yet another sign of the dumbing down of broadcasting by ITV. There are very few digital channels that have such a variety of entertainment as M&M. So, Carlton, please reconsider your decision.
We simply don't need any more trashy quiz channels on Freeview.
M & M had an excellent mix of classic action and documentary programmes which no other channel can match. A very bad move ITV. :-(
