I hope the good sane people can band together and help make this movie bomb. However I am afraid most people have no idea what is going on and will ignorantly just pay on up to see another over-the-top action flick. :-(
I support this petition. We all have the right to excercise our freedom of speech in protest. Tom Cruise has that right, but should be aware that MILLIONS of consumers ALSO have that right. I will NOT support someone from a group that aims to SQUASH peoples freedom of expression just because they cannot prove that they are not the wacky sectarian hate group that South Park and others discuss. Yes the truth hurts and the truth is, Mr. Cruise and those in his group can use their celebrity power to stop freedom of expression, but the power of CONSUMERISM is a much stronger force to be reckoned with.
