Many Military members have gained a reputation in San Diego for being heartless and willing to throw their pets away. When infact that\\\'s not the case. They are being forced to rehome their pets inorder to live in Lincoln Military Housing. This is something that has been going on for way to long. It\\\'s time for it to stop! I don\\\'t know why housing everywhere else including, CT, VA, GA, Guam, HI, etc. are allowed to have two pets, and San Diego thinks that they have the right to tell us we have to rehome our pets or live somewhere else. This is wrong! Imagine agony of having to tell a child they are having to move AGAIN, but this time they won\\\'t be able to bring their bestfriend! Moving is hard enough on a child as it is. Even if the member doesn\\\'t have children, they\\\'re still serving their country. It\\\'s not right that they are allowed to give their life away for at least 4 years, but they aren\\\'t allowed to have pets in MILITARY housing! Give us a break! In that case, go pick up a gun yourselves and let all the other men and women come home to their heart broken families who just had to give their pet away! We are aware that there are a select few homes that do allow pets, but let\\\'s be realistic, those have outragious waiting lists, and their aren\\\'t enough of them to even make a dent in the amount of service members that have pets. It\\\'s time for this to change. LET US KEEP OUR PETS!!!
