I SUPPORT FRIENDS OF MIRO'S RUN'S INITIATIVE FOR
THE RESURFACING, EXPANSION, AND RENAMING OF THE DIMATTINA DOG RUN!

FOR RESURFACING:

We the undersigned believe that the current physical condition of the DiMattina Dog Run is unacceptable as it poses a threat to paws and ankles. We support the proposal outlined by Friends of Miro's Run to resurface the run.

FOR EXPANSION/CREATION OF SMALL DOG RUN AREA:
We the undersigned believe that the community would benefit from the expansion of the dog run and the construction of a small dog run area as outlined by the proposal created by Friends of Miro's Run. Small dogs are in danger of being knocked over and trampled by larger dogs and deserve their own protected exercise area.

FOR RENAMING:
We the undersigned support changing the name of the current "DiMattina Dog Run" to "Miro's Run." Miro was the dog of Alyssa Bonilla, who spearheaded the creation of DiMattina Dog Run, the first dog run in Brooklyn. Unfortunately Miro passed away before the dog run was complete. We would like to honor Ms. Bonilla by naming the run after Miro.
