Dear Norwegian Nobel Committee:
On behalf of the undersigned, we would like to request a change in the rules for the eligibility of nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize in order to allow the indisputable humanitarian, Mr. Michael Joseph Jackson to be nominated for this award.
As the rules stand, we realise that a deceased person cannot be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and we would appreciate if you could review this rule for the 2010 nominations. We believe that if this rule is not changed, Mr. Michael Joseph Jackson’s lifelong humanitarian work before his untimely and sudden death will be overlooked and he will not be given the degree of recognition deserved.
For decades, Mr. Michael J. Jackson had been a dedicated supporter and served as a global ambassador of a number of extremely important causes around the world bringing unity across races, cultures and religions. On two separate petitions, thousands of people are requesting Mr. Michael J. Jackson to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize 2010. We believe that these petitions would be successful in getting a tremendous amount of support from the nominators if the Nobel Committeee had agreed to change the rule.
The undersigned, hereby, request for the eligibility rules to be changed for the Nobel Peace Prize to allow the opportunity for Mr. Michael J. Jackson’s life-long achievements and honour his legacy.
Sincerely,
