I support this petition. MJ is not only a singer but also a kind people. As a matter of course, I have to support the great king of pop,Michael Jackson.
I support this petition to nominate Michael Jackson for the Nobel Peace Prize as a result of his extensive humanitarian efforts.
Michael was the co-writer and driving force behind the ‘We are the World’ effort which raised millions of dollars for charity; he is listed in the Guiness Book of World Records as the celebrity who has made the largest number/amount of contributions to charities; he allowed a song he composed and recorded to be utilized by President and Mrs. Reagan in their campaign against drug abuse; he visited hospitals and orphanages in every country he ever toured and each visit included the distribution of many toys, records, pictures, etc. In fact, he also had his personal staff search worldwide to find a liver for a child who was near death that Michael wanted to save - and he was able to cause that child’s life to be saved. Further, Michael utilized his Neverland Ranch to bring busloads of handicapped, ill, and disadvantaged children to an environment where they could experience fun, entertainment and happiness that they would not otherwise find in their lives – thousands of children participated in this program over the years. He also took personal compensation that he received from Pepsi because of the injuries he received while filming a commercial, and donated the entire amount to build a children’s burn center at the hospital where he was treated for his own injuries. And in fact, his final act at his passing was to include charities in his will to receive 20% of his total worth at the time of his death.
I’m sure there are other humanitarian acts that I have forgotten or am unaware of, but I would be hard-pressed to identify another person who has ever existed that has made humanitarian contributions anywhere near the scale of those achieved by Michael Jackson. He is very deserving of such an honor for his humanitarian achievements.
I support this petition because m.j. never looked the color of someones skin, how much money someone has, if u were in trouble he would help....he was and is the greatest...and he will live forever...
Earth song, heal the world, black or white...etc. how many songs he sing to making the peace for the world, he should get this Prize~!!! I support this petition.
