Throughout the years, people have viewed Mario Kart as a classic game that is full of fun and enjoyment for people of all ages. Mario Kart made its first appearence on the SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) and people were shocked in amazement at how much fun a racing game with all of your favorite Mario-related characters could be. This game was later brought to the Nintendo 64 as Mario Kart 64, and to this day, I still play this game with people that come over my house. Then there was Mario Kart Super Circuit for the Gameboy Advance, which is also a fun-filled game. Then, at last, the Gamecube version of Mario Kart, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, was released. Many people wanted this game to be online-enabled, but the most we got was 16-player LAN. This was good, if you had the broadband adaptor, which everyone did not want to buy.
With the release of Mario Kart DS for the Nintendo DS system nearing, I put forth a petition to Nintendo of America Co. to make this game Wi-Fi enabled, in order for us to play Mario Kart DS over the internet with people all around the world. Our target is 5000 Signatures, though, if we go over that, it would be a great thing. Thanks to everyone that signs this.
