i agree with everyonee!im 14 but i look and act WAAY older,im capable of doing the job and also of obtaining a work permit,geez i just want to make some money,actually i NEED to!
I am only 12, but I think I am more mature than most of the people in 8th grade. I think I am very responsible and would be able to work at many jobs if they gave me the opportunity
I do agree but ther are jobs out there depending on the area at 14 i was babysitting and now im 15 and i work at mcdonalds. its not the coolest thing in the world but it works!! i will have enough to by my care by the time i reach 16!!

i think that kids are age should be able toget jobs at 15 and 14. we are just as comprehensive as 16 and older kids ,we can do and listen just as well as they do.i think that we should be able to buy are own clothes for school if are parents do not have the money. some of us are not as wealthy ,but we do have minds, and we can train them to do any thing, like working.i think that 14- all the other ages should be able to start work .some 14 and 15 year olds are even more smarter and mature then most 16 year old kids. thank you

ya i have been lokking for a job for a long time now...ppl think that just cuz i am young that i am not mature,smart,experienced, or ressponsible enough and i never get a chance to prove them wrong
yes my brothee had a job at 14 he was being paid under the table but because i don't have his skills i cann't have the job too he is 2 years older than me he works there for real know and is getting paid like $400 every two weeks or a month why cann't i have a jod if a ask for something my parents are like are you going to pay for it i'm like how can i do that i don't get any money and my parents never gave me a allowence NEVER!!!
We should be able to work at 15 anywhere in the world beacuse at fifthteen kids want money to buy things they want that there parents don't want to buy them
I think 15 year olds should be able to work because were younger and we have more energy to do the thigs that we need to do. Just because we are younger doesnt mean we dont have the rights as a 16 or 17 year old.
We all need to check our respective states and see what the Child Labor Laws are, in Texas the minimum age is 14 and that depends on what type of job you're doing, however is alot easier and to hire one who's 16 than one who is younger because of liability issues.

well im 15 years old and i would love for people to start working at 15 they become more responsible and independent... and they can also learn to be hard workers to succeed in the future
I have tried applying everywhere and they keep denying me. I am well capable and i think instead 16 being the age limit it should be 15 because we are just as strong and mature and prepared as a 16 yr old. whats the difference
I think 14 and 15 year olds should be able to recive a job just as easily as someone whom is 17 or 18! we need money to just because we live with our parents doesnt mean they HAVE to give us money!
I agree with this idea. I am 15 years old and know that there are infact jobs out there for us. Yet at what cost do the jobs come? Mcdonalds, constructon, and other crapy jobs? I don't think this is as much as 15 year olds getting jobs, but getting fair jobs. I recently tried 2 start my own business online, i had it all layed out fine. Yet for almost everything you have to be 18 years of age. Now no offence to any older people out there, but we shouldn't be judged on our age. I peraonally know i am much smarter than both my parents. I recieve strait A's and get many rewards. My abilities surpase those of many older people. People and their right for a good job should not be judged on their age, but on the condition of their mind. The higher the intelect, the better the job. Even, sometimes how hard someone is willing to work. Now a-days' everthing cost more and we need money. I need to pay for a car, and college. My parents dont have that kind of money. I personally would like to better myself with a higher education than that of which they recieved. So i can support my family in the expensive future to come. ... but of course.. you have 2 be 16 years of age for a work permit for
15 year olds should be able to get jobs, they cant just twinkle their nose and BOOM have money in their hands. and parents get tired of their kids asking for money, kids need money to buy clothes they like, money for movies, CDs, or other things they like, it would teach them stuff about money too.
i think it's not fair becasue if you want to work it shouldn't matter how old you are, child labor is forced upon you against your will. If you WANT to work then they should hire you not based on your age but based on your qualifications, and skills. I'm tired of asking my parents for money.
