OF COURSE I support this petition. I have a September birthday and just because I was born a Virgo I am denied summer work. We can work 8 hours a day or 40 hours a week!!! We are able to work in the summer. it's not fair for us.

The reason i support this petition is because us 15 year olds need the money we want to work and we also need the advantages for our future. so why do you have to be 16 to work??? its not understandable. Their is some 15 year olds that are mature enough to handle a job and do what they can to work harder and harder. also so we can learn for responsabilities at a young age. So why 16 year olds. we need money because what if our parents dont have any and we have to use the same clothes or other type of cloth or shoes. We teens dont want to look scrubby we want to look classy and be mature young adults . so how about it? Thats why i support this petition.

I support this petition. I mean, when I turn 16, I'm gonna want to save up for a car. That will take a long, long time mowing the lawn for $15-$20 per lawn. Besides, I might as well start saving money now. I mean, I can't rely on my parents forever. Also, just think of how many people wouldn't be living with their parents when they're, like, 30 or 40.
i have just left school but i am a younger one out of the lot. i dont see why all my friends who are 16 can get a job. i have left school now and i do not want to be dossing around until my 16th birthday.

We are at a point in or lives where we need to save up for cars or maybe cell phones college or a house or take car of there parents i have to move out when im 18 get a car go to college and get cable and stuff for my house how am i going to do that when my first job is when im like 16 or 17. im 15 and i want a head start on life because i dont get no help in it.
15 year olds deserve to get jobs just as much as others. This is discrimination against all 15 year olds. Just because we are 15 doesnt make anyone else better because of their age. Age shoulnt matter. If your at least a teen and are responsible and have good grades, you should be able to get a job. What do 16 year olds have that 15 year olds dont have!?!??!

I support this petition, because it is unfair that we can't get a job until we are 16. We are very capable of running a cash register, or let alone sweep a store. Yea there are some things we can't do but there are more things that we can do. Let us Work!
YES! 15 year olds should have jobs. Its not like much is going to change between 15 and 16. And there are a lot of teens who are very polite and intelligent to take a job. And yes we are very capable! =]
I ask my dad for money for school clubs and athletics, but the only response I recieve is ask your mother, the jobs for teens in my area start @ 16, and my birthday is in December. That is too long to wait for work!!!!!!!!

I support this because i think also that just cause you are 15 you should be able to work as well as anybody else. Just like others we dont want to have to have to ask my mom for money and not my dad ether. So i think that we should be able to work at 15 years of age
We all need to make money somehow. Plus, if we have a job, we won\'t spend as much time on video games or just sitting around. Also, we can use the money for our benefit. I\'m trying to look for a job right now, and I can\'t seem to find very much available for my age.
Summer\'s almost here and I want to be able to go out with friends, go shopping, movies, dinners, etc. without having to get money from parents. I think 15 year olds are mature enough to work. So I think they should make more jobs available to 15 year olds. I want to be able to make my own money. It would also keep kids out of trouble if they just worked instead. Also we would learn to be more responsible.
I am a very intelligent 15 yr. old in Mississippi. It is very stupid to me that we as 15 year olds are not aloud to work...I need the money the way prices are for things dont make it better, im trying to make it better for me and my mother. yes i think that 15 year old should work out here now these days because life is getting harder. things don\'t just fall out thetress to us we/everybody have to pay for what we want and our parents need some help.
