I really do think that a 15 year old can have a job only because there are many reliable people out there. I am 15 and I am in need of a job. I know that I can handle it along with my school work but the places that I go to tell me the same thing. I have to wait about a year in order to be 16 and for me that is like forever. I know that education is very important and that is why I am still attending school. I believe that I can handle going to school and having a job on the side. I think that there are many teenagers out there who are determined to work out a schedule to keep there school life, job life, and personal life in order. I think that 15 year olds should atleast be given a chance to prove themselves. I think that having a job at 15 will help us learn to be more responsible and organized with our life. I agree that we as 15 year olds can have a job. I think that teenagers would save there money and use it mostly for the future and for family things. I think that they would be very responsible when they have there money so I really dont see the point in them(the managers) not giving us a chance. it is very unfair that just because someone is 15 years old they are any less mature or capable of handeling jobs that someone only a year older then them can do. I am only 6 months younger then my best friend who just turned 16 in January, and it is hard for us to find jobs together. this is absurd.
O Dear at 987 comment- wot do we need 2 buy?! erm clothes, make up, fee's for transport, pay for places to go suchas cinema etc and so much more! some people aren't as rich as some people who can just ask mummy and daddy when they wanna go somewhere or have the latest thing! we're 15 now we can't keep relying on our parents for money! yeh so what the the education sysytem was delayed longer-mayb so people can get better qualifications and so they wouldn't have to be thrown straight into a full time job! AGREED, I am 15 and i want a job. I'm trying to save for a decent car and i would like to also be able to afford the little extras that i always have to wait until my birthday or some other special occasion to get.
And i have found that a job is the answer.

Everyone needs money even 15 year olds. You cant keep asking your parents for money. I personally hate asking my parents all the time for money. If i want to get a car i need to pay for it myself and that is a lot of money so i always look for jobs but i am still too young. It just sucks. If I want something I have to find a way to get the money. It is really hard to find a job when you are 15 almost 16.

I am a young woman who needs a job to for fill my personal needs that my parents can not provide... 15 is a very hard time in most teens lives and we are usually eager to hurry up in life and get it rolling... some 15 years olds are advanced a grade in high school due to summer birthdays, which happens to be my situation at hand i think 15 should be the age you can legally get a job easily. im just waiting on the world to change... young adults should be able to support them selves if they have the skills.

Teens who are 15 should be aloud to have a job, becaus eat the age of 15 we are trying to save up for a car and would like many things that our parents will not provide. At the age of 15 most people are already in highschool and are ready to have there own money.

I hate having to ask my parents for money all the time...plus half the time they don't even give it to me so I either end up not going out, or I go out, but only spend like $4 because I don't have enough.
