I made my own DVD from an old VHS copy, and IT SUCKS!! Give us the real deal!!! I want to hear "KICK HIM IN THE NARDS" in 5.1. and I'm not alone. All though after all these years a few things have dawned on me: a:Rudy's too young to smoke even for the 80's b:weren't ALL the kids sans ritchie virgins? Why did they only suggest scary german guy and the skanky older sister?? Hopefully i can look for these answers witht he help of a chapter search. REMEMBER THE SQUAD

By all means this movie deserves a DVD Special Edition! It's among my fondest childhood memories! In addition to the special features listed on this page I think it should a whole lot more like a trivia game, an interactive documentary based on the real-life legends of such monsters and links to online communities dedicated to all the fans who remember this movie with profound joy and inspiration! This year also marks it's 20th anniversary thus all the more reason for such an honorary tribute!

Then to my total disbelief, I discovered I can't just up and buy it on DVD from the Internet... but apparently I can buy someone's used VHS for like $50. This was my favorite movie growing up. It sucks that it's not considered a classic. I've been looking to buy even the VHS version of the movie so that my kids would hopefully enjoy it as much as I did. This movie is a classic to many, you have to put it on DVD.
