Unlike the in the US European Motorola Milestone/Droid users are not currently given any updates at all. The update server does not respond.

As such they still suffer from various Camera bugs which make the camera unusable. [1]

We are stuck at Android 2.0

We hereby wish to be heard by Motorola - We like your phone, but will return it as broken should you not publish updates that resolve bugs that break the phone.

The list of known issues for European users [2] :
- Unlocked motorola phones DO NOT HAVE ACCESS to paid apps
(Unlocked in the sense of \"not bound to an Carrier\")
- Youtube app crashes for non EU languages
- GPS service stalls and does not recover until reboot
- usb_symbol service stalls - needs reboot of device
- Upon entering fly mode and leaving fly mode the device can no longer connect to GSM network (Data), only UMTS is working

We the undersigned state, that should Motorola not publish an hotfix/adroidupdate for the bugs mentioned above and in the link before 01/06/2010 (DD/MM/YYYY), we the undersigned will return the device as broken.

Clarifications : The bug listing is not intended to be complete - The problem with purchase&listing of protected applications depends on the Country you bought the phone in.

The petition exposes the problems we EU users face altogether not per country.
