MySpace sucks. The people who join it are desperate to get their name out on the internet. The few who care about having an okay site and getting their name out (like me - I am a PHP programmer) actually make the effort to create their own webpages. IMHO, you shouldn't ba able to have a web page unless you know what HTML is.
