If it ain't 2D it sure as hell better look like TVC. If this don't happen I wanna see MvC 1 downloadable, and it needs to be the DC version like SoulCalibur. When this happens they need to add: Vergil, Dante, Veiwtiful Joe, dude from Lost Planet, Zero, Bishop, Deadpool, Vision, and Ghostrider. I want alot more than just that, but Ima keep this short. MvC3 or MvC for download on XBLA/PSN!!!
I hope this really does happen, the Marvel vs. Capcom series have always been the best. I still play Mvs.C2 on my PS2. Capcom in my opinion has made some of the best Marvel games, granted they are all fighting games, but none the less every character has never looked or sound better in the Capcom games. I agree, keep the graphics either like Marvel vs. Capcom or similar to the new crossover. I wouldn't mind them trading out a couple of previous Capcom characters for guys, like Zero (Mega Man X) and Dante (Devil May Cry) or they could just add them to make it simple. I would pre-order this the day the offically announce it, if they actually allowed that.
marvel vs. capcom 3 HD Redux? methinks yes i would buy 100 copies of this game in advance if i could guarantee it'd be made. however, since they can't even push out bionic commando rearmed or super street fighter II Turbo hd remix

i still get a bunch of Street Fighter games on my dreamcast, including Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, and XMan Vs Street Fighter, Marevl vs Capcom 1/2 games.
I know considering Marvel vs Capcom 2 has been named #1 or #2 fighting game of all time on many lists, and if Capcom is smart "which they are" they won't do anything to MvC3 make it have more characters, a little jazzed up, and it will crush everything.
I support this petition greatly.
The fact that the Marvel vs Capcom series is STILL alive and STILL used in competitions shows a 3rd game would be appreciated...and I spose to offer the companies an incentive, it would sell by the bucket too.
Better music please. The gameplay was superb but i had to mute it everytime i played mvc2. it does not promise to 'take me for a ride' until I want to off myself.
Finally this is possible; so happy that the stupid EA/Marvel thing broke up. I'm still satisfied with Tatsunoko vs. Capcom; but wouldn't mind a Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
Say what you will about the game, but there has never been a more feature packed fighting game since then. Sure, the balance could have been better, but in my mind, there hasn't been a more perfect fighting game since MvC2.
I remember spending like 6 yrs on MVC2 alone just trying to master as much of it as i can. i realize that the game was so deep that it would take a lifetime to master. now that is pure greatness and hopefully this game is the same.
This game would be badass. MarvelvsDC would also be cool but mk is making a game with DC now. Any games made by capcom would be badass but mcv3 would really take the cake.
All I wonder is why EA would turn down a great opportunity as this! All I hope for is that Marvel makes the smart decision and give the fans what they want!
Look at all the hype that stupid game mkvsdc is getting....mvc3 would create 100x as much buzz as that since it's has already been like eight years since mvc2.
Please release Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for PlayStation 3! I want to see new characters in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and i will buy Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for PlayStation 3.
In my honest opinion, I know that Marvel is now serious about gaming and want to become developers. When the time is right, they will purchase a license from Capcom or ask for permission on their take. And when that happens, I will renounce in joy.
I think it'd be great if they could fix the super brokenness of MvC2, but still keep the wild, hyper fighting and add new stuff. Capcom should go back to making awesome Marvel games like X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse, Marvel Super Heroes, and pick up Acclaim and LJN classics like Spider-Man and Venom: Separation Anxiety and Spider-Man and X-Men: Arcade's Revenge.

I'd really like to see this-- Marvel is definitely more my thing than DC, and if they really blew out the roster-- went totally nuts with loads and loads of characters, I'd be in like Flynn. I just want Penance to be in the game and to have a tag-team attack with P-Cat.
Man it would be great news if this game was made. I'll admit Marvel vs. Capcom 2 wasn't the deepest of fighters since it usually came down to the big4, but its over the top action made it loads of fun to play.
If they make this game, I really hope they don't steamroll everyone for balance's sake. When you have 60-some characters, balance is less necessary, just play with similar tier fighters if you're that serious about it. It wouldn't even make sense logically for the whole variety of characters to be balanced - they wouldn't be themselves anymore.
Marvel vs DC fighting game would be great if it was made by Capcom, no need for a real story just battle it out with your fav heroes. I think it would also make the internets asplode!!!
I think if its done right you wont worry so much. Those games never really had much of a story it was just pure fanservice, unlike mkvsdc which makes no sense whatsoever.
