The My Child Doll was a wonderful doll made by Mattel from 1985 to 1988.

But alas due to the bad timing of its release during the Cabbage Patch craze never reach it's full potential.

Many collectors would love to see this doll re-released in time for the 20th anniversary of the dolls initial release Christmas 2006.

Please sign the petition and help bring back into manufacture a lovely and well-made doll that delighted children 20 years ago and still delighting collectors today.

I have 4 daughters and would love to buy them a doll of their own these were better then cabbage patch and now with the rerelease of so many retro toys pony, gi joe turtles, strawberry shortcake, smurfs tone why not My Child dolls also Jakks should do them there awsome toy makers

Every child I knew had one of these, and I know with the growing popularity of \"retro\" toys out there this is one that ever woman that grew up with these dolls would want to get for themselves, and for their children.
