Myrtle Beach is forever ruined by the omission of the Pavilion and Theme Park. SC and Myrtle Beach residents should feel ashamed that they allowed this to happen. Was it fixable? Yes. Was it? No. What remains in it\'s place is a huge field of grass in the middle of what was the heart of Myrtle Beach. It is depressing and the grandest example of $$$ taking heed of the good. If anything the park should be improved rather than torn down. Look at the historic jewel you plan to destroy. Surely a bit of paint & polish would be a small investment over the cost of demolition.

i remember going to this amusement park as a kid, year after year when i would go to myrtle beach in the summer, losing this amusement park is like losing a piece of childhood, so i defenially support this petition
