This is not only a great idea, but a great one. We express ourselves so many different ways, why not show the world some of our best work, not only would be expressing out love for art, but our selves as well.
this is a great idea. There's a video section and a music section, so why not for the visual arts as well? And this will actually keep me interested in myspace if they do this.
I've been waiting for this to happen for a long time. The decision to open space for personal video, and not for artists did not make sense to me. Video is great... but, come on!!!
There are so many studio artists and designers on myspace who want to network more easily. Also, you need to reorganize the messy Friends list into categories such as "Musicians" "Artists" and "People"... and you need an icon for each category. Musicians get a headphones icon and Artists get a brush & palette icon, haha.
as an artist myself, it never hurts to make connections, and with this new artist section, we would be able to do exactly that! this is awesome, and a great way to help people springboard into the world of commercial art.
This is a brilliant idea, especially as they have brought out a choice for comedians and film makers. It's only right they should make a choice for artists
Not just musicians that are artist, art comes in all forms. We need some backing also. It seems many artists are left out of the mix. We need a voice also please consider us for our page also.
