The visual artists of today are certainly deserving of equitable exposure to their community.Community is what Myspace is supposed to be about, and community is what artists desire. This is why I have created Imagillaboration.org national collaborative sculpture project.
As a homeless starving artist, out of the workforce for 5+ years, we need a place to showcase our talents and be recognized by those who seek out original work by the non-Kincaid types. We breathe, love, cry, hurt and dream just like anyone else. We create with originality and passion.
As the editor of an online music magazine I see a great need for this to happen. We have an arts section and we are always looking for new and upcoming artists to cover. We are trying to support the indie scene, whether it be music, artists, b-movies or tattooists. This part of all our communities is very important. Everyone has to start somewhere.
Absolutely! Brilliant Idea. Tons of people on MySpace are artists. But it should cover ALL the Arts: Fine Art, Design, Litereature, Photography and Performing Arts.
we need a more creative outlet for myspace, having an art page would let artist expand their art to the web, as well as find other artists... all in all it would be beneficial
