This petition has been made, with the intention of addressing Namco to please remove the character of Rothion and everything directly related to him (minus Sophitia and Cassandra) from the "Soul" series of games.

Rothion is a pointless character as he is not even clearly shown on the series of games. We know he was chosen by the greek god of forge to create Sophitia's weapons and armor. But out of that, he is a worthless character since he is not a true warrior, and therefore not a worthy husband of Sophitia who is a brave woman that deserved better.

Siegfried, Mitsurugi or Rock would had been a better company for Sophitia; as they are great warriors. Or make her remain alone to respect her large fan following.

We know it would be hard to get rid of that character at these heights. But even though it might sound farfetched; it could be placed that Rothion and his children are nothing more that an illusion by Soul Edge, Hephaestus or some other force. Or with the influence of such films as Batman Begins and Superman Returns, restart the franchise without Rothion. But if there is another better way, please do it.
