We, the undersigned, respectfully request that post-secondary institutions, government officials, employers, and student funding (scholarships, fellowships and grants) bodies carefully review the value of accelerated or “life experience” equivalency degree programs because they may provide the student with too-much information in too-brief a period of time or no information whatsoever, respectively.

Ultimately, we would ask that traditional online, off-line, or self-paced courses and programs reassert their presence in the marketplace so that the adult student has:

1. Sufficient time to learn, review and apply new concepts in the workplace.

2. Practical, applied learning materials to increase adult student salaries and the revenues and profits generated by self-employed adult students.

3. Increased accessibility to a post-secondary education worldwide by dramatically lowering high and rising college and university course, program and textbook costs.

4. Information on the risks inherent in using the services of those with accelerated or equivalency degrees and, in particular, those posed to individual lives and organizational performance.

5. Instruction from competent adjunct (part-time) university and college faculty who receive salaries above the minimum wage of the host country.

6. Low-cost tuition and textbooks to remove the need for costly employer tuition reimbursement programs, private and public student loans, and expensive student scholarships.
