Naruto should be on Adult Swim instead of Toonami there more mature rated situations in Naruto then Toonami would be able to air with out destroying what made Naruto so great
First of all, Naruto fits the bill of Adult swim perfectly, certainly more-so than Toonami. While I do credit Toonami with introducing me to many shows I might not have seen otherwise (who wants to rent/download such a huge neverending series like Dragonball Z?), I was very confused and disappointed to find out just how heavily edited these shows were. After seeing the unedited versions of many shows, I stopped watching Toonami altogether, since I hate knowing that entire chunks of dialogue are ripped out for the sake of time/neo-continuity (changeing of minor plot points since they had already cut out small but critical elements: Think Dragonball Z before they got the rights to Dragonball)/ offensive-ness. Parts of Naruto are definately not for kids (sexy-nojitsu?) and that's fine. It was written for teens and above.
Secondly, fans of Naruto would hate, Hate, HATE! to sees the entire series die just because of bad dubbing, horrific editing, etc. Give Naruto a chance. Don't change it if it goes to Toonami or let it remain untainted in the careful hands of adult swim.
As much as I wish to sign this petition, it is useless. As if they will change Naruto to Adult swim just because we run a petition. This petition is useless, even though I hate it being on Cartoon Network PERIOD.
Sexy nojitsu will not be cut out and there will be blood but not it gushing out like when younger toguro killed kurabawra but the cussing will be cut out

I implore the nice people at cartoon network to put naruto on {adult swim} and not toonami,I live on the west coast, and the little kids will be watching it over here, I think the content might be to much for a kids of 7 or 8....unless you go the way of the one piece anime and make to horrible, bye taking out all the beutiful music, giving all the characters Inappropriate voice actors and edit the content so much that all the key points of charater development are gone, and then edit out ANY remotly violent scene (anything involving more that six onces of blood)....then I wont care and not watch the show
I will never watch it, and will discourage others to not subscribe to the molested piece of garbage that will come from the true name of Naruto. Why must the American children be handled with kid gloves?Anyone who has followed the series up to now appreciate what it really says, and the characters never sell out, so why should their image be stained because we can't handle some honor and attonement in our actions.

Yes, I totaly agree. Naruto should be on Adult Swim to show all of its full potential! Naruto just has to many suggestive scences and story lines for todays young veiwers and with parents being they way they are would also agree that this show is to mature for them. Does any one remember Sailor Moon and know the truth behinde it? Well if you do then you would agree that IT TO should have been on Adult Swim. Also, Sailor Moon just goes to show how badly toonami butchers great animes! Naruto should be on Adult Swim without a doubt! Not to mentioin all the sceens tat would be cut out are the ones that make up the whole series of Naruto.
Naruto is a very great anime that deveres to be on Adult Swim so it can be shown to its fullest potential! Toonami is a crappy station to show it on since it cuts out all of the best parts from the shows.
Contrary to what people unfamiliar with the anime may think, Naruto IS NOT intended for younder audiences. There is blood, swearing, and the infamous Sexy-No-Jutsu in this anime. However, these are all necessary! Editing this anime so that it is "appropriate for all ages" will ruin the animator's original purpose for it, thus limiting its artistic value. For these reasons, Cartoon Network should air the un-cut version of Naruto on their Adult Swim lineup.
I've seen this anime in japanese, and thinking of how they're going to make it is sickening. I mean, come on, it's for people 14+. Not eight-year-olds.
I highly doubt that naruto would be enjoyed nearly as much with all of the editing that will be done to put it on toonami. I don't even think that I would recognize Naruto if it was on toonami. Please don't ruin it by putting it on Toonami!

putting naruto on toonami would ruin the series and it would not appeal to the audience it was meant to. Toonami is obviously not watched as much as adult swim and adult swim woul better welcome the series. It would fit in better with the mature of the anime groups
I totally agree that Naruto should air on Adult Swim. Dubbing will ultimately butcher Naruto. I've read 6 volumes of the manga, and Naruto obviously deserves better.
Yes, i'd prefer it the way it was, and if i had a choice, i'd want the original subtitles. Plus, On Adult Swim Naruto Fans don't have to wait a whole week to see another action-packed episode of the greatest anime on earth, which is Naruto.

I have watched some episodes of Naruto in Japanese and I definetly agree that they will have to edit way too much so that people can watch it in the daytime and putting the show on Adult Swim will definetly save some trouble and time and make the show so much better.
Toonami just can't handle the action that Naruto is known for. Adult Swim is now showing Samurai Champloo uncut so what's wrong with bringing Naruto there. IMO, it's less work for the producers anyway.
Yes it should, and for England late night Toonami which is like Adult Swim to us. (We use to have it.) Oh and to clarify, the majority of Naruto Audiences in Japan are 11 year old Boys. It was made for 11 year olds.
Naruto should be placed on Adult Swim because it belongs there, not on Toonami because if it is placed there, none of the original material would be showed, we'd be watching the "Wussy" version of Naruto basically
I believe that Naruto belongs on Adult Swim. Putting it on Toonami will only ruin it, they'll most likely edit it so much that it won't even be the same show anymore.
I really enjoy the japanese anime and sincerely hope that cartoon network will change their mind and put it on adult swim.The anime is more along the lines of an older audience and i prefer the original japanese version than to comparison of the clips and information ive heard and seen from the american edited version. Yes i agree with this Whole Heartedly. I have seen most of the Naruto Series in Japanese and i find that there are Many scenes that would be Considered Inappropiate for Younger Viewers. Viewers of all Ages watch Toonami but More mature Viewers watch Adult Swim. Also if these Inapproate Scenes were to be cut out then the Show time would be Shortened, the Story wouldnt make as Much Sence, and Half the Comic Releaf would be Gone. Please Put Naruto On Adult Swim where Hard Core Animes like that Belong.
Yes, it needs to be on adult swim. I very much like the manga and i would love to see what i read come to life in the anime. But i don't want to see it as a wreck because of toonami.
Changing the show takes away from the writers greatness. How could anyone change the guidelines and scripts of a show? How can you change the names and the characters greatest moves? This show will end up to be a buncha freaking pansies picking flowers.

I agree. Naruto is an excellent anime, but the fact remains that not all anime is kid worthy. If it were to be edited for Toonami then it would lose alot of what makes it a great anime. Not to say that swearing and violence makes it great, but it utilizes both to present a story line we love. It's like taking a movie like "Fight Club" and showing it on prime time ABC or something, no one will like it. Adult Swim will keep the current fans, and present it to a bigger audience.
yea your right, naruto has laungage like on 131 when sasuke charges itachi and says dont F with me. And the sexy no jutsu thing. to much blood, violence, language, and sexual stuff for kids. naruto is even more violent then FMA, Inu-yasha, Trigun, and many of the anime on adultswim!
the adult content contained in naruto will not be showed explicitly in toonami, i believe that in adult swim, the show's full potential will be showed. We don't want anything that's cut up and taped back together.

ok my comment is this, Naruto is by far one of the best Animes, all 3 dragonballs were awesome as well, however 9 year old kids liked that show and it killed it for me. Naruto which I have seen and absoulutly love by its self is not for kids please place it on Adult Swim uncut. Thanx
I've only seen a limited ammount of Naruto episodes, so I would really enjoy seeing it on television. Otherwise the series is great from what I've seen.
I've never seen the show, but everyone I talk to says its awesome. I think it would be better if it were shown on Adult Swim cuz it's anime and most of the anime shows I watch are all on it. Plus not too many teenagers or adults watch cartoon network or toonami cuz they're too busy with school or work. It would just be more convenient to put it on Adult Swim.
I think having Naruto on adult swim would be awesome, its on later at night so no young kids will see it, so i say keep all the blood, perversions and swearing, who cares, only adults and kids who already know what blood looks like and how to swear watch it..
Toonami can't handle Naruto in its original form(story-wise) bacause of a few big reasons. 1.Sexy no Jutsu, 2.They can't explain Haku is a guy, toonami wouldn't have a show with a so-called crossdresser, 3.Language and name-calling (perverted hermit, dumbass, flat-chested *****, etc. and 4.Think about how much blood there actually is. should toonami really hold a show where a kid stabbs himself in the hand or a show where a kid rips the arms from some guys sockets? the answer is no. adult swim may not necessarily play the entire show uncut and un-edited, but it would definitely have the best chance there. if the show were on toonami, some of the episodes could possibly have as much as half of the material edited out. who's gonna watch a 10minute long show?
I think if naruto goes on toonami it will loss the majority of its appeal cause one of the most major thing the viewers like is the blood sexy no jutsu etc...
Sexy no Jitsu (one of the first of Nauruto's special attacks) is not very Toonami compatable, but it is Adult Swim compatable. At the very least, an Adult Swim version *and* a Toonami verion would help those of us who want to see things uncensored.
Please, air Naruto on Adult swim. I've read the manga and seen some anime, I know what you will have to do to even let it show up on Toonami and its not a goood thing. The show should stay the way it originally was planned to. Please, bring it to Adult swim!!!!!
